Camp Oochigeas Paddle Project
For more than 30 years Ooch has been providing magical camp experiences for children with and affected by childhood cancer. The Camp offers year-round programming at Ooch Muskoka; in hospital at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), three other paediatric hospitals and regional healthcare centres across Ontario and at Ooch Downtown in the heart of Toronto. Ooch is the only overnight camp in Ontario that provides onsite IV chemotherapy treatment and blood transfusions. Through these programs, Ooch provides fun and life-changing experiences to approximately 1,200 children with and affected by childhood cancer each year, at no cost to their families. Programs at Ooch are made possible by the generous support of donors and volunteers.
The Camp Oochigeas Paddle Project is a signature event that partners with prominent Canadian artists and celebrities to raise funds that give kids with cancer the chance to be kids. This project will raise funds to send more kids with cancer to Camp.
Visit the Concourse Level to view a selection of these one-of-a-kind works of art. Bidding for the online Paddle Project will go live on October 24 through to November 4.
