If you have to sit at a desk for your job, short bursts of activity throughout the day can prove beneficial to your health. Even five minutes of exercise each hour can have an impact. Try putting a reminder in your calendar to get up and move once an hour. Or take that next phone call while standing at your desk. Be sure to check out the activities below for more inspiration.

WELLNESS WEDNESDAY: Is Your Desk Job a Pain in the Back? –
Wednesday, November 28 • 11:00am – 2:00pm

Office workers spend more time at their desks than almost anywhere else. That’s why it’s so important to have a proper ergonomic workspace and to build in time for movement throughout the day. Our Cleveland Clinic Canada providers will be on hand to share their knowledge about how you can lead a pain free life at work. Plus, discover some stretches you can do right at the office as well as tips on how to set up your work space properly.
