Spent Goods – Food Waste, Champions and Innovators:
Local bread company Spent Goods uses “spent grains” from Henderson Brewing Co. beer manufacturing process to create tasty sourdough breads and crisps with a unique backstory.

Tuesday, October 22

Greenhouse Juice and Heal Doggy – Circular Economy, Food Waste:
Creator of organic plant-based juice company and a local dog food company show how pulp waste from GJ can be repurposed to create a brand new product offering for a company like HD.

Wednesday, October 23

Nudnik – Textile Waste:
Local Ontario business takes on textile waste around the world by using cutting scraps from factories that would otherwise go straight to landfills to create colourful & fashionable children’s clothing.

Thursday, October 24

Earthology – Plastics and Packaging, Food Waste:
Local beeswax wrap maker will showcase the natural ingredients used to make these wraps and discuss the ways in which using these can reduce your ecological footprint – both by reducing food waste (food lasts longer) and reducing plastic waste.

Friday, October 25

Ungalli – Plastics and Packaging, Champions and Innovators:
Clothing company manufacturing material out of recycled water bottles.
